Through the automatic transmission fluid dipstick tube , at the back of your engine , slightly to the left ( looking from the front of the Explorer ) by the firewall
Pull the inside hood release and then go to the front of the Explorer and press down on the hood slightly while operating the auxillary hood release located just under the front edge of the hood at the center
The shaking you experience is caused by slack in the front end. Have it checked by a professional. You've probably got some bad ball joints or tie rods. Either way it can be dangerous.
