Bobcats are mainly nocturnal hunters, but may be out during the day as well. Bobcats eat at dawn when everything is calm.

A bobcat is a carnivore, it can probably go for extended periods of time, up to two weeks without food if it has all the water it requires, I suspect that one eats, at least on average, one pound a day. It's digestive system works just as yours do
