I used 10 W 30 for 15 years in my 13 1/2 Briggs & Stratton and it still runs like new It's a 1997 Sears. I just replaced the Top Gear on the starter because of age, it broke in half, but had do to wear on it and replaced my muffler gasket, that it besides changing blades once and the belt for the blades. Not bad for 15 years on a $1,500 lawn mower, and I thanks God all the time, because someone else bought it new and the started didn't work so they brought it back and I got it as reconditioned for $417.oo, God is awesome!
