Well it just depends really, if its oak then probaly not much! it turns out oak can give the little beavers serious gas!! But if they are eating beech then they could happily spend upto 8 hours a day scoffing down some nice beech, especially as its a lighter wood in colour it doesnt pack as many calories.

Most of the beaver's diet is made up of tree bark and cambium, the soft tissue that grow under the bark of a tree. They especially like the bark of willow, maple, birch, aspen, cottonwood, beech, poplar, and alder trees. Beavers also eat other vegetation like roots and buds and other water plants. The beaver has a specialized digestive system that helps it digest tree bark.

Source: Nature Works They eat breakfast at 8:30 am , lunch at 12:30 pm and supper at 6:00 pm, not to mention all the snacks in between.
