A Gerbil
A gerbil makes a bigger mess because hamsters just run around in their cage making no mess at all, but gerbils are wild animals so they try to borrow in their shavings and kick it around every where.....
But it all depends on what type of cage you have because if you have a cage with bars then their gonna kick then out the side when trying to borrow but if you put them in an empty, never used aquarium then they don't make a mess at all.
A female hamster will have a longer tail then the male hamsters and female's make more mess then male's.
rabbits, but they make a bigger mess.
Mess
It makes a mess.
Gerbils naturally dig around and burrow constantly. If the gerbil has a wire enclosure, then surely it will make a mess all around it. Cages that are better suited for gerbils so that they do not do this are aquarium setups or fully enclosed plastic cages, such as Habitrail Ovo.
Well first show her that you are responsible and that getting a hamster won't mess with your grades in school. Then milk it like do extra chores around the house and stuff like that. Hope I could help<3
it dies, and makes a mess on the floor.
Their habit is do get into things and make a mess. For example: my abyssinian gets into my toilet paper and makes a huge mess.
Saving food on their cheek pouches is totally normal, you shouldn't mess with it.
Yes It Can They Are Like A Blue Crann But Bigger Dont Mess With Them....LOL
Convince her that you can be responsible enough to look after it and make sure it doesn't mess up or interfere with the rest of the house/other pets.
If the nails get to overgrown, your hamster will not be happy. It is not very comfortable and can hurt your beloved pet. Trim short, but do not hit the pink area of at the root of the nail. That would be devistatingly painful for the hamster and make a bloody mess in the trimming area.
