Good electricity conductors can stop the radio waves in their tracks.

You should be able to receive a radio signal in a tank, made of steel, which is good conductor. Surely, tanks use radios for communication but the radio antenna sticks out for that reason, while for safety of the radio transmission should be much wiser to keep the antenna inside under cover.

Moreover, water (again good conductor) prevents submarines from receiving traditional radio waves. The very long waves can go through though, the Navy uses 76Hz frequency for example. For many reasons long waves are impractical to use.

That gives you in meters: 3947368.421052632m, nearly 4000 km!

How can two polarizing block all light passing through them?

Polarizing materials block light except in a specific direction. Two of these materials in opposite directions let no light through (it is absorbed).

What material can be use to block gamma radiation?

Not much because Gamma rays are passing through the earth right now as I type but i think that lead can block some or most of it.

What objects block heat and electricity from passing through?

This sounds like you mean insulators. There's no material which is a perfect thermal insulator.

What doesn't permit the passage of x-rays?

Materials with high atomic numbers, such as lead, and dense substances like bone or metal, can block the passage of x-rays due to their ability to absorb and scatter the radiation. The level of attenuation depends on factors like the thickness and density of the material through which the x-rays are passing.

What materials block sounds?

These materials are called phonic insulation products.

What is the functioning of choke coil?

A choke coil is used in several electrical devices. The function it has is to block AC currents from passing through as it allows DC currents to pass through.

Are toasters radioactive?

While it is running, it is producing microwaves which is a form of radiation. That is why there is the metal mesh on the door, to block the microwaves and keep them in the oven. The metal shell of the unit keep the microwaves from getting out. It is not radioactive by itself and does not have anything inside it that is.

What are materials called when they block the light?

Opaque.

Why does a white unprinted paper does not get heated in a microwave while a potato does?

A potato wrapped in paper will cook in a microwave oven, because paper does not block microwaves. A potato wrapped in aluminum foil would not cook in a microwave because aluminum foil does block microwaves.
