A molecule containing carbon hydrogen and oxygen would almost certainly be called an organic molecule.

The simplest organic molecule containing those 3 atoms would be formaldehyde (methanal) CH2O. However there are many more, all aldehydes / ketones, alcohols, esters and ethers contain those 3 elements.

A molecule is said to be organic if it contains?

An organic molecule is a molecule and that contains carbon atoms that are connected to hydrogen, oxygen or nitrogen atoms. Glucose has carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms so it is organic.

What molecule contains carbon hydrogen oxygen and nitrogen which is used by the body for growth and repair?

Amino acids, peptides and proteins are large molecules made mostly of carbon hydrogen oxygen and nitrgoen.

Are respiratory gases organic compounds?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is organic because the molecule contains carbon. Nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), and water vapor (H20) are inorganic: they contain no carbon.

How many oxygen atoms are in nitrogen?

Nitrogen monoxide has the formula NO, so each molecule of NO contains 1 oxygen atom.

Is there nitrogen in sucrose?

No. Sucrose contains carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.

How is the molecular formula NO different from the molecular formula N2O?

A single nitrogen atom can be chemically reactive while a nitrogen molecule is relatively stable and tends to be faf more inert. A nitrogen molecule also has twice the mass of a nitrogen atom.
