Mix 3tsp oregano with 6 mint leaves, add 2Tbsps of tobasco sauce and smear over your erection.

Mind you, I don't personally know of ANY woman who would be willing to have intercourse with you if you were smeared with that concoction so I'd wait for a better answer if I were you.

There's a variety of herbs available, all of which work in slightly different ways. Usually you'll take them in the form of a specialist health shop supplement combining a few herbs to achieve a potent combined effect.

However it's important to note that even the same quantities of the same herb can vary a lot in efficacy from supplement to supplement, due to being grown/harvested in very different ways. Look for a supplement with a good track history (herbal ignite is one that springs to mind) that's been around for a while.

So. The herbs themselves:

Horny Goat Weed is a common one for boosting libido or interest in sex. Funnily enough, the name comes from farmers observing what happened to goats when they ate the stuff!

Ginseng and Gingko appear to help with nervous system functioning, thus assisting arousal and response etc etc not sure if these two would do much alone but probably useful as supplements.

Yohimbe is pretty popular but due to issues of it playing up with some people's hearts etc it's not legally available in a lot of places.

Tribulus Terrestris is a biggie. It boosts your testosterone tank levels by stimulating your body to produce more of its natural testosterone, a bit like when you were younger. For most men over the age of thirty, more natural testosterone equals longer and stronger erections!

Others... well Maca comes up a bit. Damiana, Tongkat Ali, and Avena Sativa (Osama bin Laden was reputedly taking Avena Sativa!) are others to watch out for, but as with Ginseng and Gingko I'd suggest they'd be best suited to a supporting role in a supplement.

Hope that helps!

There are many possible causes of erectile dysfunction:

-Diabetes

-Hypertension

-Atherosclerosis

-Stress, anxiety or depression

-Alcohol and tobacco use

-Some prescription medications

-Fatigue

-Brain or spinal-cord injuries

-Hypogonadism

-Multiple sclerosis

-Parkinson's disease

-Radiation therapy to the testicles

-Stroke

-Some types of prostate or bladder surgery

So good question. A lot of the drugs on the market have nasty side effects, especially after long term use, and can get quite expensive too!

There are a variety of natural treatments, including herbal supplements and acupuncture. The best way to treat though is to find the root cause of it. As men hit thirty, their testosterone levels gradually decrease. For most men a herbal remedy that boosts testosterone proves highly effective. A great product you could try is called Herbal Ignite, it's been around for over a decade, and made in clean green New Zealand, so you can be assured of the quality and efficacy of its ingredients. You can get more info from their website, but basically as I understand it works by using the herb Tribulus Terrestris stimulating the body to produce more testosterone, like it did when you were in your twenties.

Erectile Dysfunction Causes, Symptoms and Treatment Options?

Erectile dysfunction, also referred to as impotence, occurs when men are unable to obtain or keep an erection long enough for sexual encounters. While experiencing difficulty in obtaining and sustaining an erection from time to time is common among most men, erectile dysfunction is characterized as an ongoing sexual dysfunction. Along with the social implications, E.D. can cause serious strains on relationships and self-confidence.SymptomsThe primary symptoms of erectile dysfunction is characterized as the inability to maintain an erect penis long enough to perform sexual intercourse. Along with erection difficulty a reduction in sexual desire, or lack of libido, is common among men who suffer from this dysfunction.CausesSexual arousal in men is an intricate progression that involves hormones, blood vessels, muscles, emotions and nerve endings. Due to the multiple systems involved in sexual arousal, erectile dysfunction may be due to a variety of health and mental complications. Some of the more common physical ailments that contribute to E.D. include: high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson's disease, atherosclerosis, tobacco use and abnormally low testosterone levels.Although medical ailments can play a direct role in the development of erectile dysfunction, psychological complications can cause symptoms of E.D. to worsen. Mental ailments such as stress, fatigue, depression and anxiety can trigger or worsen erectile dysfunction.DiagnosisDiagnosing erectile dysfunction may be done through several methods, such as standard physical examinations and blood tests. Physicians may also perform an ultrasound on the penis to ensure it is receiving ample blood flow to support an erection. If physical problems are ruled out by the physician, an overnight erection test may be performed. This test involves wrapping specialized tape around the circumference of the penis, and if a nocturnal erection occurs the tape is separated. If an erection is achieved while sleeping, the causes of E.D. are likely due to psychological issues and not physical complications.TreatmentTreating erectile dysfunction can vary depending on its cause. If the disorder is caused by an underlying health problem a physician will recommend treatments for the physical ailment. In conjunction with treatments for medical conditions, oral medications such as Viagra, Levitra or Cialis may be prescribed to enhance blood flow to the penis in order to obtain and sustain a firm erection. Psychological causes may be treated by undergoing therapy or taking anti-anxiety medications.Erectile dysfunction may also be treated through herbal supplements, such as yohimbe. According to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, yohimbe has been used by African cultures to treat erectile dysfunction and increase sexual desire among men. Although no clinical trials are available to determine the effectiveness of this herb, natural proponents claim it is a useful tool to naturally increase the quality and duration of erections.
