Tattooing out of the home is illegal mainly because of sanitation risks. If someone is just tattooing out of their home, there's no real way to make sure that they're taking proper health precautions. Tattoo artists in shops are generally required to wear gloves, face masks in some places, sterilize their equipment, dispose of used needles in special bio-hazard containers, sterilize any and all work surfaces after every customer, etc. Someone tattooing out of their home probably isn't going to do all of the things I listed above.

Liners are grouped in a circular pattern which gives them their nickname, rounds. Used mostly for outlining tattoos, liners come in as small as a single needles and can generally reach up to an 18 round. Single needles are rarely used by most tattoo artists, except occasionally for very fine line work. The most common groupings for liner needles include 3, 4, 5 and 7, but you can also find needles grouped in 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 18, and some suppliers even offer a 19 and 20. Some suppliers offer tattoo needles in assorted sizes which are commonly used in tattooing, just save your time by folllowing that.

You really should not be reusing needles to tattoo someone. If you are going to though, the only way to properly sterilize them is by using an autoclave. An autoclave uses extreme pressure and heat to kill germs and bacteria.

The tattooing process involves: 1. Handling the fish out of the water. 2. Puncturing the fish with needles to inject the dye. 3. There is a possibility of post tattooing infection. 4. If the fish are stressed, there is a risk of lowering their immune system, making them more susceptible to diseases and infections.
