What is meant by "major" defect? If you are speaking of the clearance lights that are on the front and rear of the bus roof (one on each corner of the roof and 3 in the center, front and back) that would not be considered a MAJOR defect, but they should be repaired ASAP because they would not comply with state DMV regulations requiring ALL lights be operable. They would definitely not pass state inspection standards
