What problems are caused by natural disasters?

Natural disasters can destroy homes, buildings, roadways. Water sources can be cut off or contaminated. People can be injured or killed. Food may be scare or non existent causing starvation and ultimately death if help isn't secured. Loss of loved ones. Looting of food supplies, perhaps causing black markets opening up selling much need supplies at exorbitant prices.

In general, it is the loss of your habitat and the shock of the disaster that cause people & animals to suffer.
