Obese is extremely overweight.
Yes, being overweight can adversely affect many body functions and can cause permanent diseases, such as diabetes. It can affect the heart, the stomach and colon, circulation,… blood pressure, bones, facial structure, body structure, liver, pancreas. It can also affect the emotional stability and outlook of a person.
If you watch what you eat, and stay healthy - despite your parents -- you can stay away from obesity.
When someones BMI is over the helthy range.
You keep on eating junk food and you drink a bunch of sodas and beers eat late

Practically anyone who eats too much fatty food and doesn't exercise.
Sit on your butt all day, (no exercise) and eat lots of peanuts.
By dieting and exercising, always under medical supervision.

Obesity means having too much body fat. It is not the same as being overweight, which means weighing too much. A person may be overweight from extra muscle, bone, or water…, as well as from having too much fat.
