You can amend it meaning you can change whatever you have filed for any correction. Many of the taxpayers do this just to file the returns on their due dates to avoid penalties then amend it later.

A return filed to correct one that was already filed if some change or error becomes known. For income tax, it is done on a 1040X...a very simple form (show what chaged, by how much, old and new amount...pretty much it).

How do you ask the judge for the defendant to return the property to you after you refund the customer im suing?

That request should have been included in the suit that you filed. However, if it was not, that should not be a fatal error. During the court hearing present either a verbal or written motion to that effect and the judge should include it as part of his final order.

Where can I find more information about an amended tax return?

If you discover an error after your return has been filed, you may need to amend your return. The IRS may correct errors in math on a return and may accept returns with certain forms or schedules left out. In these instances, do not amend your return! However, do file an amended return if there is a change in your filing status, income, deductions, or credits. Also, if the Form 8938 (PDF), Statement of Specified Foreign Financial Assets, applies to you, see Filing Form 8938 after filing 2011 or 2012 annual returns in the Form 8938 Instructions.

What do you do if you left off a W-2 form from a second employer on your tax return?

You need to file an amended return if you omitted a W-2 form from your original return. Form 1040X is Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. You should file your amended return as soon as you discover any omissions or corrections.Be sure to note where to mail your Form 1040X in the Where To File page of Instructions for Form 1040X. Amended forms don't necessarily go to the same Internal Revenue Service Center where you filed your original return.

What to do if there are spelling errors on your wedding license?

It depends on when you discover the error. In North Carolina for example, if you discover the error after the license has been filed the license can be amended. Depending on the complexity of the error affidavits may need to be filled out and submitted. There is usually a small fee to amend the license. Call your local Registrar's or Clerk's office where the license was issued and ask them.
