A true friend would not tell your personal feelings to other people--most especially a guy that she knew you had a crush on. Has there been any recent arguments or resentment between you two? As far as the guy in question, if he acts this silly over secondhand accounts and won 't even ask for your side of the story, he's not worth the trouble of having a crush on.
Ask your friend calmly why she made the decision to tell this guy what you had said. It's up to you to decide whether you want to continue the friendship or not, but if she has a pattern of doing this to you (and to other friends) in the past, there's going to be future trust issues if you decide to continue being friends with her.
AnswerFirst of all I would reconsider this girl as my best friend. She told him something you told her in confidence and she did it to make you look like a fool. Probably because she likes him too and he probably didnt like her and she didnt want you to have him. Now what to do about him, well, then just ignore him. The things she told him you said he should take as a compliment and be thankful that someone has an interest in him. If he cant handle the truth then he isn't worth it either and neither of them sound as mature as you do. You need to find people that have it together like you and be happy.Wiki User
