If you want to lose weight do what I did. First of all you have to have motivation. You have to say to yourself that "I want to lose weight". Every morning when you still are in bed do some crunches. When you are dressing either dance or jump around. Since you go to school then when you walk to classes try to fast walk or run. In class if you are not busy with something then sit on the side of your chair and tighten your stomach muscles. At night do cardio and try not to eat after 7:00 pm. Good luck!!!
Exercising is indeed a good way to lose weight but at age 14, your focus should be staying healthy rather than losing weight. Presently, your body is doing a lot to prepare you for adulthood and dieting may interfere with this process. For example, your bones are picking up additional calcium from your diet to make them dense. By the time you reach age 35+ your body begins losing calcium from your bones. If your bones do not have a good store of calcium, it increases your risk of brittle bones that break easily as you get older. The disease of brittle bones is called osteoporosis. At age 14, you can influence your bone health by the food choices your are making now. To diet and eliminate general foods now may mean you compromise your bone health. If you want to change your diet to help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce or eliminate fast foods, fried foods, sweets and sodas and other sugary drinks. These extra calories in these foods don't help you create a healthy body. Oftentimes, these are the calories that get stored as fat. Hope this helps! I tried the easy way by not eating that much-- but truly-- whenever i failed i felt horible and then i began to crave food.
So now its summer and i have made a plan for myself to jog in the mornings and not to eat after 7:00p.m. I m kinda self concious about my thinghs abd butt, and i know that i want a healthier body so i know i can do it-- also whenever i feel cravings, i grab a bottel of water and get out of the house, -- it helps.
