All wolves apart from pups have the capacity to be dangerous. Big teeth, strong jaws etc.
In reality attacks on humans by wolves are very, very rare, and wolves are far more likely to leave a human alone.
The most dangerous wolves are those who have been accustomed to humans and lost their natural fear.
The red wolf. In around 2004, it was extinct in the wild. Now there are a few left in the wild.
In the 1970's, the last 14 red wolves in the wild were captured and placed in a captive breeding program. The descendents of this successful program today live in the Alligator River Refuge, in eastern North Carolina, where over 100 roam the wilds there today.
Wolves do not have breeds. That term applies only to domestic animals such as dogs, cats, cattle, etc. Wolves are classified by species and subspecies. All species of wolves are equally dangerous.

EVERY SINGLE BREED OF WOLF IS ENDANGERED! sad isn't it? we should do something about that? As above, every breed of wolf is endangered and as a passionate wolf lover I agree something should be done to save these amazing creatures, and it is very sad that are kind are to blame. But some breeds are more endangered than others. The grey wolf is the most common, the most endangered being the red wolf.
Here are some groups of endangered species: Wolf species: Arabian Wolf (critically endangered) Eastern Timber Wolf (endangered) Southern-East Asian Wolf (also known as the Turkish Wolf and Iranian Wolf) Caspian Sea Wolf (endangered) Dingo (also known as the Australian Dingo) (this species is listed as vulnerable) Vancouver Island Wolf (endangered) Egyptian Jackal (critically endangered) Himalayan Wolf (critically endangered) Red Wolf (critically endangered) Prairie Wolf (also known as a Coyote. Critically endangered) Eastern Canadian Wolf (This is a newly recognized species. This species is endangered) Ethiopian Wolf (Closely resembles a fox. This species is endangered.) Maned Wolf (critically endangered) Indian Wolf (Another newly recognized species. This is an endangered species.) I'll look up some more later. Hope this helps!
The Gray wolf (most common) is not a concern, as far as being endangered. It depends. While some species of wolf are least concern others are critically endangered.
They all are except the arctic wolf. But most of them are in the "least concern" category.
as endangered as it seems.
