I think that when it gets to be about 60 F at night, and 72 during the day. I live in the country in Mississippi, and we had several wasp nests on our house this summer, but now it's getting down to about 60 at night, and I haven't seen a single one.
Wasp is an insect. They are cold blooded animals. So they can not maintain the body temperature, like warm blooded animals. So their body temperature changes according to the surrounding temperature.

Unlike bees, wasps have a smooth sting and can easily withdraw it after stinging. They can also sting more than once.
They could if you are allergic to the stings ____ Not usually. It is possible if you are extremely allergic, or if a zillion of them sting you at once, but even then, it rare to die from wasps, and if you get to a hospital, they should be able to fix you up.
