The main difference between sdram and dram is that dram is?

The main difference between Synchronous random access memory, SDRAM and Dynamic Random Access Memory, DRAM is that SDRAM is synchronous while DRAM is asynchronous. As such, SDRAM is efficient in retrieving and storing data than DRAM.

Difference between cache memory and ram?

RAM (Random Access Memory) is used to store information for the programs running now while the computer is powered. Cache memory is RAM that a computer microprocessor can access more quickly than it can access regular RAM.

What is the Difference between secondary memory and auxiliary memory?

secondary memory is actually the permanent memory/the backing storage of the computer. it is of two types:sequential accessdirect accessauxiliary memory is the computer's internal/temporary memory. it is also of two types:random access memory (RAM)read only memory (ROM)the difference between secondary memory and auxiliary memory is that:-both are same i.e both performs the same operationsthanks.

What is the difference between pc5300 and pc5400 RAM and are they compatible?

The basic difference between PC5300 and PC5400 random access memory is data speed, which is marginal. However, because of the slight difference, the would likely not be compatible.

What is the difference between sam and ram?

In RAM ,the access time is the same for any memory location.Semi-conductor IC chips and magnetic disks are random access memory. In SAM a particular memory word is accessed from the memory by going through all address locations until the desired address is found.Magnetic tapes are sequential access memory.
