Ideally you would not allow your dog to eat any more marshmallows. Since these are primarily air-puffed sugar with a little bit of Gelatin for stiffness, there's very little risk of toxic effects or gastric issues - your dog may be a bit withdrawn as he deals with a belly-ache from too much sugar, maybe some diarrhea or vomiting and a really long nap to get over the crash after a sugar high. You will likely be able to watch your dog ride this out at home, but you should watch for signs of severe problems such as a swollen belly, extensive vomiting, or pain.

∙ 12y agoIt depends on the amount he eats and the size of him. Reese's cups contain very little chocolate compared to its peanut butter content. If you have a 50lb+ dog and it eats one it will be fine. If you have a Chihuahua, call your vet and follow their instructions.
