Can I get direct satellite tv at a home that is surrounded by trees?

Trees could be a problem but there's also the solution of ground mounting your satellite. Try visiting http://www.dishpointer.com to see a full layout of your home and look for possible places that the dish could be placed. Otherwise try contacting your local Direct Tv and see what they advise.

How do you improve satellite reception?

Heavy rainstorms will reduce the strength of the signal that reaches your dish, while at the same time adding some noise to the signal. There's not much to do about that, unless a bigger dish is available, which would 'catch' more of the signal.Another thing that can degrade signal is trees. While your dish may have a clear unobstructed view of the satellite on a calm day, with a little wind (not even a cloud or storm) some trees could be swaying their branches into the signal path. Either move the dish, or see if some of the branches can be trimmed. Some of the dish systems let you switch transponders (kind of like changing channels) which the alternate transponder may be getting through better to you than the one currently using. Check with your guide or manufacturer's website.

How see your home with satellite?

you can see your home from satellite by using google earth or wikimapia.org

have no service is there a problem in my area and how do i get repair?

If you are talking about your phone or satellite TV system then check to see if another person with a cell phone or satellite system can receive signal from your home. If that person cannot get signal either then your area is not covered and is therefor unable to receive signal and it is not your phone/satellite. If this is the case then there is no easy repair that can be made, and definitely not any repairs you can make yourself. If it is a phone then you can also try going outside because brick, brass and copper are known to block many incoming signals for cellphones. If not then you can try a different phone on the same provider or switch providers (cancellation fees may result from canceling a service early). If its a satellite and you have a large tree nearby (in the backyard or next yard) then try angling the satellite away from the tree and in other directions to see if you get better reception. If not then contact your satellite provider and demand your money back because they cant charge for a

Where to find a site about tool identification for construction?

Tool identification can be for human or machine recognition. Human recognition is usually achieved with paint, or by making a few light cuts with a hacksaw making distinctive branding marks such as /// or X/ or V or < Machine recognition is less well developed. One application is for battery packs for portable tools to be able to identify the tool plugged into it. See http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/7119516-description.html providing a tool identification signal to the battery pack from the cordless power tool once the battery pack is coupled to the cordless power tool. The tool identification signal may be representative of data particular to the cordless power tool

Why does your Sirius radio loose the signal without any obstacles blocking the antenna?

Your sirius radio is advertised as "satellite" radio, and that's how they distribute it out and around the country from their headquarters studio, but that's not how it gets to your car. When you listen to it, you're listening to a local ground repeater, not to a satellite. So when you say there are no obstacles, it doesn't matter whether or not you can see the sky; you need to be looking at trees and buildings that may be blocking your horizontal path, just like any other radio, TV, cellphone, etc.

How can you see a tornado on satellite image?

You can't. Tornadoes descend from thunderstorms, and so cannot be seen from above. You can, however, see the thunderstorms in a satellite image. See the link below for a satellite time lapse of storms tha produce tornadoes.

Can the 1.7k latency be lowered at all if you have HughesNet satellite Internet and play sentence quite frequently when you have no alternative to satellite?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do anything about the latency issue with satellite Internet. Latency is the time delay experienced from when the Internet signal travels up to the satellite and back down to your receiver dish. It is exactly the same delay you may have noticed when a news reporter is broadcasting from, say Tel Aviv and you see a time delay. This delay is just about half a second.

Best website for satellite images?

NASA provides vast archives of satellite imagery much of which are available online such as the NASA Image Gallery.Google Maps is a great tool to see satellite imagery of earth. Remember to change "Map" view to "Satellite" to display the satellite imagery. If you need better (higher resolution) imagery, you could try other mapping programs or, if you have the resources, you could consider purchasing imagery for your own use. Here are a few companies with websites to start with, but there are others, try doing an internet search for satellite and aerial imagery:DigitalGlobeSpot ImageMapMartTerrametricsTerraServer
