Sociology collides with psychology, philosophy, economics, anthropology, literature, epistemology, history, education, law, political science, etc. Any discipline involving studying human beings or human life in some aspect or sphere, you will find it in sociology. Sociology is considered an art because the argument brought forward states that human beings have free wills and their behavior cannot be measured. Sociology cannot be considered as a science because science has predictions and with humans having their own free will, they are unpredicatable. Sociology is only viewed as an art to some; it's mostly based on how an individual views the meaning of science. Max Weber is the main person behind the argument of sociology being considered as an art.
Not really because no matter what method is used, there will always be factors affecting the objectivity.
Sociology is a very practically significant subject. The findings of sociology can be used to help to determine government policies.
The definition of Racial tolerance in Sociology means being able to get along with others no matter their race. Tolerance of one is not limited to race but also religion, sex, etc.
