Colors can be formed by additive or subtractive methods. Additive color is when you add to the number of colors an object can reflect back to the viewer. This is best illustrated with lights. Because white is the presence of all color, adding a red, blue, and green light together, will produce white light. Subtractive coloring limits the number of colors an object can reflect back to the viewer and is the method artists use when mixing paint. Because using any color will subtract from the number of colors an object can reflect, you cannot mix colors with a subtractive method to get white.

White light comes in various tints but our eyes and brains adjust to compensate. Normally, a good quality white light has a continuous spectrum from red at long wavelengths to blue at short wavelengths with no gaps. Mixing just three spectral colours (red, green and blue) will give the illusion of white if the proportions are correct but it will have a poor colour rendering index.

Some white LEDs produce white by mixing yellow and blue but it should be noted that yellow is not a primary colour since it can be made by adding green and red.

Vermilion and Crimson make red. Vermilion and Crimson are double primary colours so you probably haven't heard of them.

White is the lightest color. You cannot produce it from two others because they are all darker.

you can't mix any color to make white. White is made up of all colors in light, so if you mixed all the colors with paint of something like that, you would get black.
