Best Answer

well C is carbon, carbon is a nonmetal

H is hydrogen and it's also a nonmetal

when you have two nonmetal it is a COVALENT compound

when you have a metal and a nonmetal it is IONIC compound

example: NaAr sodium and argon one is a metal and on is a nonmetal

Firstly, C6H12 is not an atom. It is a compound. C is an atom, H is an atom, but C6H12 is the combination of different atoms, which is a compound. Second, it's covalent bonding.
