Strictly speaking, there is no required clothing for worship. Most Jews wear a kippah (Hebrew) or yarmulke(Yiddish)-- a skullcap, and many wear a tallis -- a prayer shawl.
1) Modest clothing. Some groups wear regular suits, and some wear long black frock-coats. Women wear dresses with a relatively high neckline and low hem.
2) A head-covering. Some wear a kippah (cap), and some add a hat on top of that. The hats come in various styles. Women, if married, cover their hair with a wig or kerchief.

Religious Jews are those Jews who live according to the teachings of Judaism. This includes such things as not working on Shabbat, modesty (not wearing revealing clothes), married women cover their hair in public, men wear kippot, all food eaten is kosher, etc.

For the same reason that Canadians don't wear special clothes. Why should they?
they wear clothes that cover all of their bodies. the clothes have to make them look respectful and honorable.
French Jews wear the same clothing as any other person in France. Religious Jews will dress modestly.
Wha type of clothes did they wear ?
Usually pajamas. There is no rule in Judaism about what clothes to wear to bed.
