An oil (like Moroccan oil or Fekkai) or relaxing serum (like paul mitchel) will help..if you use a product like that after you shower and then use a hair dryer to dry your hair, that will get your hair pretty straight....I think that's the closest thing to straightening your hair besides from using a hair straightener.
Yes, all ionic hair straighteners are ceramic; this particular type of hair straightener was developed in Japan in the 1990's and is especially useful for stubborn, frizzy hair which is normally a challenge to straighten.
I recomend the Conair Wet/Dry Hair Straightener.

It may have been the Paul Mitchell companies of hair products.But---There is much evidence to suggest that straightening combs, hot irons were available as far back as 1872. And it was around this time a person called Marcel Grateau (a Parisian) who started using heated rods to straighten hair. This tool helped straighten the hair and caused less damage than other hair straightening techniques AnswerIt was invented by Madame C.J Walker. AnswerMadame C.J Walker made a straightening product - which was like a type of oil/cream, but Garrett Morgan created the first flat iron hair straightener
The chi straightener is a type of straightener. It blocks out moisture and holds hair styles much longer than other brands do. With this straightener, even curly hair turns super soft and straight, as if your hair was naturally straight. The problem is that the chi straightener's price is on the high side, for about $99.
It all comes with practice, and of course your hair type. You do not want to burn your hair so if you have thin hair, don't keep the straightener on you hair for long.
Invest in a strong hair straightener and any hair can be straightened. Of course, semi-straight hair with kinks or turned up/down ends is far easier to straighten than frizzy, super curly or puffy/fuzzy hair, and also less damaging for the hair itself as it requires less heat for less time. Having said that, there are shampoos, conditioners and other hair applications that can minimise the damage caused by heated, hair controlling products. Alternatively, you could get your hairdresser to permanently straighten your hair if these sorts of products do not work on your hair type so in answer to your question, any hair can be straightened. the quality of the straightening is dependant on the product or method you use and on which hair type you use it on. Try out several different ways of straightening.
You have to be patient and get very little amounts of hair with your hand and straighten it, then after a couple minutes you will notice the deferance... remember be patient. Taking thin sections when straightening your type of hair texture is very important and you may need to increase the heat on your flat iron. Round brushing your hair with a hair dryer before using a flat iron will also make it easier for you.
If you are worried about your hair straightener damaging your hair, you should apply heat protection to your hair before straightening it. Your hairdresser can probably recommend one.
i have really thick hair and i used the wet to straight straightener. After a while, it didnt work that well. Now i use Remington t-series straightener with TRESemme heat protection products before straigtening it and i love the way it comes out
I'm not going to lie. It will damage your hair depending on your hair type, the type of straightener you have, the heat level, and how often you straighten it. Although straighting your hair looks very nice it causes dryness and split ends which can sometimes get annoying. You can always get regular trims to decrease the amount of split ends and dead ends and get a hydrating shampoo and conditioner to keep it moisturized.
When its off you can take a washcloth and get it damp then clean it off, wipe of the water. If its a serious problem there should be a warranty on it depending what type of straightener
