Due to this the religions varied. However, the most prevalent were Christianity, both Catholic and Protestant, and Judaism.

This isn't a fair question. America does not have one dominant religion; Baptists, Catholics, Taoists, Buddhists, Jews, Satanists, and more religions are active in America. Christianity does, however, seem to be the most popular religion in America. Holland may be the same way.
