No. The Bible does not mention anything to suggest it was snowing or even cold. It is possible he was born in spring or winter, but even in spring it is possible to have snow. Yet there are indications it was the summer season. People would not have been called for a census in winter, and neither would the sheep have been in the open. Since the shepherds were in the fields, it it probably didn't snow. If the shepherds were in the fields it would mean that it wasn't rainy or snowy. Sheep are kept in the fields from April to October, not in December. If the sheep really were in the fields and the Gospels are correct in this matter, then the December 25 date is most likely incorrect. If Luke's story of the shepherds watching their flocks in the open fields is true, then Jesus must have been born in the warmer months, rather than in December. It would not have been snowing. If there was snow, they would have herded the sheep to a warmer place.
In the New Testament story, it was said that the shepherds were living out of doors at the time of Jesus' birth, so, the climate would have been mild enough for them to stay outside all night with their flocks. But this raises an interesting point. there are a number of historians who do not believe Jesus was born in December; the fact that the shepherds were able to stay outside gives credence to the school of thought that believes he was born in the spring or summer. That said, the climate in the Middle East tends to be warm, although it does cool down somewhat during the winter months.
Jesus was in a stable in Bethlehem, as it was foretold.
No this is not likely as the Shepherd's were looking after their sheep. Yes it might have been a bit cold in the open, but not snowing.
Bethlehem was just a small town in the Negev Desert. It was famous for being the birthplace of King David.
One thing is very clear at the birth of Jesus it was not snowing, as it is impossible for shepherds to sit in the open , while their sheep graced about.
