January 20, 1993
The 42nd President of the United States was Bill Clinton, from January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001.*Because Grover Cleveland's two terms are counted separately, Clinton was the 41st person to serve as US President, and George W. Bush was the 42nd.Grover Cleveland is considered both the 22nd President and 24th President since Benjamin Harrison's presidential term came between President Cleveland's first and second terms.
Came before. Example: "Bill Clinton preceded George Bush as president."
oh wow Bill Clinton he came into presidency in the year `92
Bill Clinton George W.Bush Barack Obama
There have been two presidents that were impeached by the House of Representatives, and they were Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Although they were both impeached they were acquitted by the Senate. Richard Nixon was a third president who would have been impeached but resigned prior to his pending impeachment.
There has been no U.S. President to date with the last name of Bill (and there's no way you will get me to believe that you are on a first name basis with Pres. Clinton). Of the four Articles of Impeachment against Bill Clinton that came to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for vote, two passed. One was for perjury, and the other was for obstruction of justice. Both crimes were committed during the official investigation into reports that Pres. Clinton engaged in inappropriate behavior with White House intern Monica Lewinski.
He wrote one book during his time as president: "Between Hope and History," which came out in September 1996. Just prior to getting elected, he wrote "Putting People First," in September 1992. Other books, including his autobiography, "My Life," came out after his two terms in office had concluded.
It's hard to say whether they did (or do) or not. This is actually a joke that came about around February 1950 when President Clinton was in office, and only changed a little to replace Clinton with Obama, but the fact is such an event (as in Clinton ordered the firing of over 100,000 "cattle" guards) never really took place. See the Snopes.com link below for more on this urban legend.
The Twin Towers in New York City were attacked. Also President William Clinton leaves office in 2001, and George Bush becomes president his term ended in 2009. After George Bush came out of office Barrack Obama became president.
Hell yeah he did. Where do you think the 'rocket ship' he gave Monica came from?
Bush Texas Clinton Arkansas
None. Presidents Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were impeached (had charges filed against them) by the US House of Representatives, but both were acquitted at their Senate trials. The Senate came up only one vote short of the 2/3 required to convict Andrew Johnson. In Clinton's case, 55 senators voted to acquit. President Nixon was never impeached because he resigned before the House of Representatives could complete the process.
