What happened to both the Austro Hungarian empire in the ottoman empire after World War 1?

• Austria-Hungary broke apart before the war ended. Hungary, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia broke away, leaving "German-Austria" on its own, and this soon became Austria. Austria signed the Treaty of Saint Germain and Hungary signed the Treaty of Trianon, which confirmed the results of this breakup.
• The Treaty of Versailles, which ended Germany's part of the war, took away Germany's overseas colonies (mostly giving them to the Allies). The treaty also took some European territory away from Germany, giving it to her neighbors, notably the newly recreated country of Poland.
• The Ottoman Empire suffered a fate somewhat similar to Austria-Hungary. As the war was ending, much of the Middle East broke away from the Empire, most subsequently falling into British or French control- many of these were given independence soon thereafter, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq, which were made into kingdoms ruled by Arab leaders who had sided with Britain. There was also a brief war between the Turks and the Allies, which Turkey actually won- but the Ottoman Empire ended, to be replaced by the current Republic of Turkey.
