∙ 11y agoSeason two "rose" in this episode we first meet rose and Trevor who are in the run from the original, who wants to kill them for their help with assisting Katherine Katerina's escape him 500 years ago. It is where we learn with more detail that Elena is a doppelgänger needed to release the sun/moon curse. Elena was without her vervain necklace and Damon was about to return it to her, before he did he tells Elena, I love you but I do not deserve you, Stefan does. He ten compels her to forget and puts her necklace back on.
