Friday, November 14, 2008 = India reached Moon =
Bangalore: India's maiden moon probe crashed on to the lunar surface at 8.31 p.m. Friday, sending a wealth of data to its mother spacecraft Chandrayaan-1 during the 25 minutes of its useful life. India became the fourth country to send a probe to the moon.
The moon impact probe (MIP), which has the Indian tricolour painted on its four sides, will remain for all time to come on the Shackleton Crater region of the lunar south pole. It will never corrode due to the lack of atmosphere on the moon.
The first man made satellite that orbited the moon was Luna 10 from Russia.
Launch date March 31 1966 it went into orbit on April 3rd 1966
Last contact with it was May 30th of the same year
BUT
If you discount the Apollo missions, which were manned flights.
Believe it or not it took another 40 years before man sent a permanent satellite to orbit the moon. This was done by Japan in October 2007.
The Satellite is called Kaguya.
China followed less than 1 month later 5th November 2007 with the Chang'E1.
Other Countries including India, Russia and the USA have sent or plan to send more satellites to the moon.

I presume that you meant, "the first ARTIFICIAL satellite", because the Moon - Earth's NATURAL satellite - has been there for a bit over 4 billion years or so.
The first artificial satellite was the Soviet Union's "Sputnik" in 1957.
The first artificial satellite was Sputnik I, launched by the Soviet Union on the 4th of October 1957
The Sputnik was the first satellite in Space. It was sent by the Soviet Union October 4, 1957.
The Aryabhata satellite, launched in 1975 from Kapustin Yar using a Soviet Cosmos-3M launch vehicle, was India's first satellite.

the man climbed on the moon by the rocket carefully.
The first man on the Moon was Neil Armstrong. He was sent to the Moon because the Russians had already sent a man into space and America wanted to beat them so they sent a manned mission to the Moon.
The first man who stepped on the surface of the Moon was Neil Armstrong.

The first man to land his feet on the moon, was the American astronaut Neil Armstrong, they landed on the moon in the Apollo 11 on 20/7/1969. And they returned safely to earth on the 24/7/1969.. But the first man to to go to the moon was Apollo 8 astronauts Frank Borman, James Lovell and William Anders.

Saturn V Rocket
The first man to put foot on the moon was Neil Armstrong followed shortly by Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. The rocket that took them into Earth orbit was a Saturn V (five). The spacecraft that took them to the moon and into orbit around it was an Apollo and the spacecraft that took them from moon orbit to the surface of the moon was a Lunar Module.
The rocket itself was the Saturn V. If you're referring to the first spacecraft to ORBIT the moon, that would be Apollo 8. The first spacecraft to LAND on the moon was Apollo 11's lander 'Eagle'.
Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. The rocket that took the crew there was a Saturn 5 rocket and thermally module was called LM-5, known as the 'Eagle'.

1969 is when the first man on the moon Neil Armstrong took man's first steps on the moon.
If I had 400,000 people helping me, I could. That's how many it took to build the Saturn V rocket and Apollo hardware that took man to the moon.
The USA first successfully landed a man on the Moon (Neil Armstrong) in July of 1969.
Apollo 11, the first mission to land on the moon in 1969 used the Saturn V rocket.
Apollo 11. The landing vehicle was named Eagle.
The first humans to land on the moon went in the CM-107 Columbia command module, launched by the Apollo 11 rocket, and landed on the moon in the LM-5 Eagle lunar module.
