There was a widespread view in Britain that the Treaty of Versailles had beentoo harsh and that it should be revised to meet justified German grievances. The French occupation of the Ruhr in 1923 led the government of the day to take the view that France had become far too powerful and that it was exploiting its position in Europe. In the 1920s the reparations payments were rescheduled twice, Germany was admitted to the League of Nations, and the Alliedoccupation of the Rhineland was ended early. At that stage there was no question of any changes to Germany's borders. The aspect of the treaty that was most unpopular of all in Germanywas the transfer of territory to Poland, and this was the one point where Britain and France were unwilling to make concessions as they wanted a big, 'beefy' Poland as a bulwark against the Soviet Union. In other words, Britain would never have been willing to deal with this particular issue.
Sorry, I have no idea :(
