I just finished reading a book about this- but it was actually very hard. Girls and Woman where thought as "breeding stock" so they were treated much more like maids, and very much ignored. There was a lot of fighting back then for the crown, and sometimes you where sent in to battle at age 15 or younger. Kids where prone to sickness and sometimes died at a young age. Also the food was terrible- no Pizza or anything. Kids actually had to drink beer to prevent them from drinking the water nearby. Often your bread would contain maggots- and you'd have to sleep on the ground. Your life was also ruled by monks and priests who forced you to believe in a certain way- and thought of you as the devil's child if you acted out.
I guess all I can say I'm glad to be 7th grade girl in the 21st century- hope this helps peace!
Mostly hard work, early marriage, and multiple childbirth, with surviving children not guaranteed and frequently unlikely. Surviving childbirth was a problem. Girls were property then. The few young girls who were members of the aristocracy usually had lives of boredom, early marriage, and multiple chilbirth, surviving children not guaranteed and frequently unlikely. Surviving childbirth was just as much a problem as for the poorer girls. They were also property.
For some it was good...if you where rich. Male children around the age of 7-8 would train as knights, in combat fr the army. Nobel girls would marry a man about 20-40 years older than them, these girls where around the age of 12-13.
For the poor children they would work on the farms, feeding the animals, harvesting the crops, and for the males when war came they joined the army.
The idea of "teens" is a modern one. The term wasn't used until 1949 and in recent years it has grown to include people in their 20's. Altough to be fare the Teens that are really in there 20's are only sometimes called Called Teeny Boopers.

Therefore a peasant child would be required stay a peasant and work the land for a Lord and his Family that live in his Manor House. Other takes Included feeding the animals, hoe the vegetable garden, collect food, and do other things that were needed to live. A noble girl would be used to bind two families together in marriage. (Diplomatic Marriage) Many times by the time she was 7 or 8 a deal was all ready made for her marriage and she would marry at around 12-13 years old a man about 20-40 years older. The marriage was a business matter that could lead to more power and money for both families. These Marriage deals were Common with the Nobility but less common with the Peasants.

yes it is, before WW1 the time and century was recorded in history differently than it is now. 1257 ad was the 13th century and 1457 was the 15th century. it was divided by 50 years through. for example 1350 was considered 14th century. almost like rounding up in decimals.
