What was the most siblings killed from one family in a US war?
The record for service members killed in a single conflict, and actually on a single ship, was the case of the 5 Sullivan brothers, who were all serving on the cruiser USS Juneau (CV-52) when it was sunk on November 13, 1942. Their deaths prompted a change in policy, and to existing regulations in 1948 (DD directive 1313.15) to ensure that sole surviving siblings be given the opportunity to be removed from combat duty.

Answer . world war 2
Answer . February 24-25 1945. The US firebombed Tokyo and destroyed between one and five square miles of the city. More than 100,000 people... mostly civilians... died. 50,…000 died on February 13 1945 in Dresden when that city was bombed. Iwo Jima was by far the costliest single campaign for the US, but the slaughter pales when compared to the battle of the Somme in 1915 when close to 600,000 soldiers were killed in four days.
By far WW2 was more devastating. I suppose a greater proportion of the deaths in WW1 were military. But WW2 was a much more widespread and altogether larger conflict. World W…ar 2 casualty estimates range from 60-78 million people lost, both military and civilian. The greatest losses for a single country were for the Soviet Union estimated at 23-25 million, and China estimated at 10-20 million. The exact numbers will never be known.
At Borodino (A Battle) in 1812 the French, fighting the Russians, lost 43 in 1 day !(As well as 110 colonels). I'm sure that answer to your question is WW2.
The Civil War
By far the most Australian casualties were in World War 1.

American Civil War
For the US: the US Civil War (1861-1865) for the obvious reason we were fighting each other (Americans killing Americans); Southerners fighting Northerners.

In World War 1
Two wars were going on when Tsar Nicholas II and his family were murdered by the Bolsheviks in July 1918. They were World War 1 and the Russian Civil War. Although Russia was …out of World War 1 by that time, the war did not end until November 11, 1918. The Russian Civil War had just begun as a full fledged civil war in June 1918.
