For almost six years from 1939 to 1945 Britain fought the toughest war it had ever experienced. World War II was total war - every person, every business, every service was involved.. Britain did not fight alone, the war also involved many countries. World War II involved 61 countries. One side ca…lled the Axis and one side called the Allies. Fifty million people lost their lives and hundreds of millions people were injured.. World War II brought a lot of suffering and hardship to thousands of children all over in Australia.. There were heaps of dangers at this time especially when German bombers made terrifying night raids.. Families were broken up when men went to fight in the war. Some children's dads also never came back home. There were air raid shelters in every school in case there was a bombing. Some people also had air raid shelters in their gardens. All windows and lights were blacked out so it would make it harder for the enemy plane to spot where they lived. Most people carried gas masks in case there was a possible gas attack.. People were given rationing cards if they wanted to buy their food, clothes or anything for their everyday needs. Although some things such as bed spreads were free.. Children probably had a bath only once a week or perhaps once a month. Clothes were not something that worried children too much. Australian children had always mucked about in their old clothes and had often resented the care with which their parents expected them to treat their new and best clothes. Often they went through summer with their bare feet.. Alien children in World War II are children who were born in Australia and have names that sound like people from German and Italian origin. The only Frog I can think of as a cartoon character or a puppet on kid-vid would have to be Kermit the Frog from Sesame Street. the durable Muppet was originally not a true frog but a ( Frog-like creature). Australian children's fashion changed from very tightly fitted clothing in the late 1800s, to more loose garments. Young girls wore smock dresses, most were long-sleeved. Boys tended to wear suits, mostly sailor suits, with caps and knee pants. Children usually went barefoot, but the children… of the richer families probably provided their kids with comfortable footwear. (MORE)

In Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, and Northern Territory Australian rules football is simply known as Football and colloquially Footy. In the states where rugby league is more common, NSW and Queensland, the sport is sometimes erroneously call 'AFL'. This comes because the …national competition is called the AFL - Australian Football League. This shouldn't happen because AFL is the name of the competition, not the sport. It would be the same as saying Tiger Woods plays USA PGA Tour, whereas he plays Golf. (MORE)
Its a miniseries or a movie with quite a few sequels, i remember that it was aired in the late 90's on star movies in India and across the globe. I'll post what all i recall from the plot: The second most intelligent man of earth (in the future), travels back in time in a time traveling ship, t…o give/take help from a present day teenager. He gives the boy a watch that protects them during traveling in time & space. They are searching for pieces of a crystal that they don't wish for the villain to find and put together. The villain is the first most intelligent man of earth (future) and travels through time in a time traveling suit, tailing them hunting for the crystal pieces like them. In a surprise twist after many episodes its discovered that the second most intelligent man who was previously thought to be the good guy is the actual villain, and the other guy was the good guy but couldn't reach the teenager the lead of the series before the real villain. Some other details that i remember: The First most intelligent man on earth was possibly bald and an African-American. They not only travel through time but also space. (different dimensions possible too) In one of the episodes they (the time traveler with the ship, the teenager, and a girl they met up before and teamed with) go back in time when the teenager was a baby, they discover that they are invisible in that time, and they save the baby from falling and seeing the baby float (invisible teen holding him) the dad hits his hand with a hammer. I hope these details are wnough for some one out there to recognise the name of the movie/miniseries. Please respond at the earliest, Thanking you in advance. p.s. if your 101% sure and you know the answer mail me on firstname.lastname@example.org also. The answer is electrons.Electrons are more mobile than protons. Thus it moves from one object to another.
Electrons flow from high concentration to low, and the voltage fields equalize. It's almost unnoticeable unless the charge jumps an air gap ... where it will produce a spark, with light, heat, and a shocking sensation if a person is included in the path.
A generator such as found in hydroelectric or steam, plants is one way. Chemical reactions is another (Carbon - zinc batteries). Air-cell batteries are another. Thermo couples are another. and piezo-electric or tribo electric devices are others again.
