Trondheim was the capital between 1030 and 1217.
From around 1300, Norway entered a union with Denmark. Since Denmark was the stronger party, the Norwegian capital was basically the Danish capital, København (Copenhagen).

From 1814, the capital of Norway was Oslo, although Oslo was called Christiania until 1925.

Oslo (formerly known as Christiania/Kristiania) became the capital of Norway in 1299, and has retained that status ever since. Before Oslo, the capital was Bergen (formerly known as Bjørgvin), and the first capital of Norway was Trondheim/Trondhjem (formerly known as Nidaros). Oslo became Christiania after a fire in 1624, when they moved the city a little farther west. The original Oslo retained its name as an area outside the city. In 1859, that area again became part of the city, and in 1929, the name of the city was changed back to Oslo.
