Many jobs onboard Titanic varied.
There were 60 chefs (including one kosher chef) and 36 dishwashers, for example.
There were stewards, stewardesses, and attendants in many places, like the restaurants, the pool, and the gymnasium.
And, of course, there were stokers and firemen who were shoveling coal into the furnaces.

Titanic employed officers, pursers, stewards, stewardesses, cooks, platewashers, gym attendants, pool attendants, lookouts, quartermasters, waiters, waitresses, stokers, firemen, trimmers, and many more.

The musicians and telegraphists, however, were subcontracted (paid for by someone else and installed on Titanic).

There were extreme differences between the officers and the "black gang". The officers, on the upper decks, wore white and gave orders. The stokers/firemen/trimmers, below decks, shoveled hot coal.

Many kinds of jobs were available on Titanic. The greatest number were in 'Victualling' - to do with kitchens and dining rooms. Over 420 of the crew were cooks, stewards, waiters and other trades of service. The engine crew was next with over 320 engineers, stokers, firemen and trimmers. The 'Deck crew' were about 60 seamen . The ship also had a restaurant employing about 70 people.
