The USS Enterprise was 200 miles West of Pearl Harbor, returning from Midway,

The USS Lexington was 460 miles East of Midway on its way to deliver aircraft to Midway,

The USS Saratoga was docked at San Diego.

The USS Yorktown was not a part of the Pacific Fleet at that time. It was a part of the Atlantic Fleet and was berthed at Norfolk, Virginia on 7 December 1941.
