The lead will destroy the catalyst in the catalytic converter and the car may have trouble passing a state emissions inspection as a result. It only takes 1-3 tanks of leaded gasoline to render a catalytic converter completely useless.
I don't believe there is a such thing as a leaded fuel engine. All gasoline is unleaded, some just a higher grade.
When I STOP AT A STATION i GOT UNLEADED GAS BUT FOUND OUT DIESEL GAS WAS MIXED IN WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY UNLEADED TRUCK
To find leaded gasoline you would have to be off North America so I don't think this should ever happen, its been banned for decades
If you're asking what will happen if you put gasoline in a diesel engine, the engine will be destroyed if you run it on gasoline.
I am thinking that if gasoline were to surround an area of the tire,,,for some period of time (i mean months) the tire will begin to break down but I really don't think it will dissolve an entire tire. If gas is accidentally splashed on a tire(like can happen at a gas station), No.
Many things could happen to the iPod Touch. If you drop a match on it while spilling gasoline on it, it would catch on fire. You could also drop it in water when carrying a water bucket with two hands and the iPod in your mouth and you accidentally drop it.
More than likely no damage was done. Drain out all the oil and fill it with the correct weight diesel oil.
The answer to the question of: "What happens when you put in diesel gas instead of regular unleaded?" is this...Diesel fuel (engines) rely on compression to ignite it. It isn't necessarily flammable.Gasoline relies on a spark from a spark plug. Diesel engines have a higher compression ratio than gasoline engines do, and thus provide more torque to the drivetrain (that's why 18 wheelers use diesel engines, instead of gasoline engines). So, if you put diesel fuel into a gasoline engine, there's not nearly enough compression to ignite the fuel. Probably the only thing that would happen is that your gasoline car or truck would run very rough for a time before all of the diesel fuel runs out.If you accidentally put diesel fuel into a gasoline fuel tank, the best thing to do is siphon it out. Finally, I can't imagine anyone accidentally putting diesel into a gas car since the diesel nozzle at the pump is a lot bigger than the gasoline nozzle...and it's that way for a reason. ;-)Though it does still happen every day when people fill up their cars without thinking exactly what they doing...For more information please see the answer to the Related Question shown below.I did this stupid thing today. It costs me 800 USD in the Toyota dealer. I did some internet search earlier. It would cost a lot fewer if you go other places. It would be no more than 500 USD. Be aware of this. Good luck!
I am out of oil with a delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I went out to the shed to get a 5 gallon can and found a 5 gallon kerosene can filled. I have no smell therefore can not tell if the clear liquid is kerosene or gasoline. I hate to throw it away if it is kerosene, I could burn it in the heater
It will Start and Run!
You will likely die, or least become extremely ill. Don't drink gasoline.
you die
