if earth were the size of jupiter, its gravitational pull would have been so high that it would have attaracted the atmosphere towards itself leading to "no ozone layer" and there would have been no life possible. because:- gravitational force(F)=GmM --- r*r according to universal law of gravitation..
Some scientists theorize the existence of a Goldilocks zone. I am almost positive that we are in the middle. Everything in that area can have life. Although, places outside of the zone can supposedly have life but it is harder to grow and develop. If we got just a little closer or further away, I doubt anything would happen. If we somehow get out of this "Goldilocks" zone, some bad things may happen.
If the Earth was further away from the Sun, this planet would be colder. It would also take more than a year to orbit the Sun.
Life would be in a form that could withstand extremely cold temperatures, and needed little or no light.
You would not see life anymore.
Jupiter. Or if you want to know what form comes after mars, It would be the astriod belt.

Jupiter is further away from the sun than earth and therefore it will always be full
It takes Jupiter just 3 earth days to orbit the sun. Even though Jupiter is many millions of kms farther away than earth from the sun, the suns gravitational pull on Jupiter is more massive as Jupiter is thousands of times larger than the earth.
How many light years away is Jupiter from Earth when there closest?
Earth is 588 million kilometers away from Jupiter. On a space shuttle, it would take about 2 years to reach Jupiter from Earth.

Jupiter, its more massive.

At its closest, Jupiter is 588.42 million kilometers from Earth, or 32.7 light minutes. At its furthest, with Jupiter on the far side of the Sun form Earth, Jupiter is 53.8 light minutes away.
Jupiter and Neptune are father away from the sun than Earth.
*390,682,810 miles. If the Earth and Jupiter are not in a line with the sun with the sun in the middle, however, this answer will be incorrect.
Jupiter is like Saturn ,it protects the earth from danger and death from grabbing the space dump away from earth
Because jupiter is farther away from the sun
