If mountains weren't being formed there would be a lot more earthquakes. This would be due to the build up of pressure at the fault lines.
Some of this is already happening: India is smashing into Asia, building the extremely high Himalaya mountains. In some places it is likely that a period of extreme volcanic activity might happen too.
The shape of each substance would definitely be amended. While some may retain their shapes, others would become abominations if the jars or foundations broke.
because if the same fossils were found in the same spot but on two different continents and if you put the continents together like a puzzle and the fossils were in the same spot, it would mean the continents drifted apart.
There are a number of animals that inhabit both deserts as well as rainforests. It would depend upon the particular species of animal. Some would quickly adapt, others might perish.
