Since society has lost it's mind and thinks that light posts on the street are overweight, I think she'd unjustly be called fat and refused hire. Though she was usually quite slim, she did climb to about 140 pounds in Some Like it Hot- so if that were today, she'd be considered a Kirstie Alley.
I watched a documentary about Marilyn Monroe and it talked about her famous walk. She learned it from idols she adored. They described it like "she was walking from a string coming from the clouds"

First of all one cannot chant-off figures for record sales such as is the case for Elvis Presley , the Beatles, etc. Monroe was a popular movie actress, did popularize the Blonde Idea- but so did Jayne Mansfield ( June, coming up, is national Dairy Month) Marilyn Monroe has retained a morbid posthumous popularity that not all top actresses have, so one can cite sales of books, posters, etc. it is a kind of cakey argument, not something akin to founding a university, inventing some utility device- desigining a bridge or canal...
You could have all the people who are coming dress up as their favourite Hollywood actor/actress!!! You could even book a limo and serve the guests some non alchoholic coctails!!!

No, the actress is not coming back, but the character is coming back with another actress in the role.
They met once, in the summer of 1965, with the Beatles coming to Elvis' Hollywood home. The evening was uneventful; they jammed a little, and talked about songwriting and their careers up to that point. John Lennon told Elvis to his face "Before you there was nothing", and asked why Elvis had stopped making albums, besides his movie soundtracks. The Beatles were saddened and disappointed to find out years later that Elvis had appealed to President Richard Nixon to ban the Beatles in the United States, on the grounds that their drug use would corrupt America's youth. (Ironically, Elvis was high on prescription medications, at the time he made the appeal.)
The Monroe Doctrine's purpose was to prevent colonization of the United states.
