I usually find that a Haynes manual is the best reference for anything, most of the time. any year that marks on the manual, should fit your car. or you can call your local parts store to ask. I've even found information from my local junkyard. if you were asking for a yr prior to 98 i could tell you. but they changed the transmission styles in 97. sorry i couldn't help better. good luck!

I have a 1998 Sable and have not yet found the dash kit / conversion kit that works with the electronic climate control.This would apply to all 1996-1999 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models with electronic climate control.Some people have installed a radio into the space below where the ashtray is.
