Sixpences have been minted for hundreds of years.
Sixpences from the past 120 years of some value would include 1952, 1905, 1904, 1893, 1892, 1887.
The value is associated with mint uncirculated coins. Circulated coins would have a significantly lower value.
That is far too broad a question to be answered here. Britain has issued Threepences for hundreds of years. Of the 20th century Threepences, the 1946 and 1949 nickel-brass coins in mint condition might be the most valuable.
The rarest nickel-brass 3d is dated 1949.
Silver sixpence and 3d series go back so far that it is difficult to be more specific.
By far the rarest silver threepence is that dated 1945 - only one or two are known.
The scarcest modern (post-war) sixpence is dated 1952.
A guide at the link below may help you answer the question.
British Threepences have been minted for hundreds of years. Any collector value would depend on the year and condition of the coin.
There are not supposed to be holes in any British Threepence. This will remove any collector value the can may have had. 1935 was a significant year in that it was the Silver Jubilee year of King George V. Perhaps somebody wore the coin as a pendant on a chain.
The rarest general circulation Australian Threepence, as distinct from the most valuable, would be the 1942 Threepence minted in Melbourne of which there were 520,000 minted. The other Threepences minted in 1942 were minted in the San Francisco (mintmark = S) and Denver (mintmark = D) mints in the USA. Threepences from this period that were struck in Melbourne have no mint mark. All others will have a mint mark on the reverse below the fourth digit of the year indicating the city where minting occured.
British Threepences were minted for over 400 years. Please be a little more specific about the date or, if you cannot make the year out, whose head is on the obverse.
1921
The most valuable wine from year to year is probably Ch. Petrus from Bordeaux. It initially goes on sale for $1200 a bottle.
Until the introduction of decimal currency, British Threepences have been minted for hundreds of years. The value of any coin would depend on the year, the design, the metal it is made from and the condition of the coin.
1895
A 1941 silver threepence is only 50% silver (assuming for a moment we are talking about British coins) and as such is really only worth a bit less than a dollar in scrap silver. 1941 isn't a rare year for British silver threepence, however, mint state examples are desirable and can bring a sizable premium over silver scrap.
A British 1959 Threepence is made from nickel/brass and is 12 sided (dodecagonal). The obverse has a young right facing Queen Elizabeth II with the words - ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F:D: inside the rim. The reverse has a crown above a portcullis with the year below, and the words THREE PENCE on either side of the coin. This design was used from 1954 to 1967.
Depends on the year, company and condition.
we dont know this and its impossible to predict that.
