Elizabeth I, sometimes called Good Queen Bess, the Virgin Queen, or Gloriana, ruled England from 7 September 1533. She ruled for nearly 45 years until 24 March 1603. She became a symbol of unity for England and ruled with her people's love. Elizabeth had no children. She was the fifth and final monarch of the Tudor dynasty.
