∙ 15y agoEd Sullivan was in a car accident and missed 5 of his shows. Each Sunday there were guest hosts...Phil Silvers, Patti Page, Kirk Douglas, Red Skelton, and Charles Laughton. The Sunday show that Elvis made his very first appearance Charles Laughton was there to introduce him.
