You can not really "make" your puppy drink water but if it is becoming dehydrated from not drinking enough you can add something to the water to make it more appealing. There are many different things you can try from tuna fish to fish oil or even a bit of canned dog food. Often this will have them slurping an entire bowl in no time.

∙ 14y agoWhen they're about 5 to 6 weeks they'll be ready. They'll of course need your help, kinda dip its mouth in the water, but no too much, just so it can feel the water. And eventually they'll get the hang of it.

Or mix water with puppy formula and slowly dilute it until he drinks just water.
