∙ 12y agoPB season 4 has been on hiatus and returns April 17, 2009 in the US & Tues, April 21st in the UK.
The 4th and final season of Prison Break started airing in the US on Monday, September 1, 2008 with a double episode (note Tues, Sept 2nd in the UK). The first 16 of 22 ordered episodes aired through Monday, Dec 22, 2008 when FOX put it on an extended hiatus. The hiatus was typical, the length somewhat extended as FOX wanted to test other shows during February sweeps.
The final episodes wrapping up the series return to air on Fridays on Fox starting April 17th in the US. (Tues, April 21, 2009 in the UK).
Supposedly, Fox will repeat episode 16 at 8pm on Friday then air a new episode 17. The series will air for 5 weeks concluding with a double episode.
The DVD set for PB season 4 is scheduled for release on June 2, 2009 in the US and July 6th in the UK.
The rumored 2-hour tv movie will not air on Fox but is expected to go directly to DVD later this summer.

∙ 12y agoThere is no Prison Break season 5. Prison Break Season 4 is the the last season & returns to tv screens on Friday, April 17, 2009 in the US (8pm Eastern/7 pm Central) in the USA and
and returns on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in the UK.
The season 4 DVD will be released in early summer. (June in the US/ July in the UK).
Supposedly, a straight to DVD Prison Break 88-minute PB movie will be released later in the summer.

Maybe, because we didn't see Michael die, but the directors want us to think he's dead. so officially, no. But if there is going to be a season 5 of prison break, then i am sure that he would be alive. unless another story will start. But i don't see a reason to start another season, probably something to do with his son.

no, gretchen does not die. she ends up in the sister prison to fox river & tries to escape with sara. however, she gets caught by the prison guards, but lets sara get away! she still remains in the prison, as we think. lets hope they make season 5! :D
