Is there a code geass r3?

Long Answer : There have been unconfirmed rumors of a newsgroup in Japan "announcing" r3 for Spring 2010 but take that with a grain of salt

Edit: Yes, there is going to be a season three of Code Geass, but it will not have Lelouch as the main character. It will be set in the Edo era of Japan (if I remember correctly). It will about some character that looks a lot like Lelouch (how typical) and he can shoot shuriken from his mechanical arm (lame :P).

Yes, Code Geass R3 (I don't know if it will be called that or not) has been conformed, but does not have a release date yet.

Also all anyone knows (or at least what I can find out) is that it is based of a spin off manga adaption done by the same author as 'Nightmare of Nunnally' and is based, like 200 years after the origanal story, and has a new main character who is helped by the witch C.C.

There is also a picture that was released when they annonced this, that shows the new main character, C.C., and someone that looks a lot like Lelouch.

Yes there will it is called code geass shikkoku no renya. The grate thing about this is that it's set in the edo period of japan and cc is back. sorry but I'm not sure when the anime will come out. but the manga came out in japan in 2010 and u can read it online.

The third season is not yet offical, so we don't know if there will be on in the first place.

There may infact be a Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito. You can look into that.
