The pill is 99.99% effective in preventing pregnancy if used correctly. If you have missed a dose, you should use a condom too in order to be sure. However, the pill doesn't prevent against sexually transmitted diseases. (In other words, you don't absolutely have to as long as your partner is clean.)

Certainly ... especially if concerned about STD's. Birth Control pills do no protect one iota against those.
Yes and no. Birth control is an effective contraceptive, and can prevent pregnancy. However, you can use birth control with condoms to make it next to impossible to get pregnant, provided the condom does not break. I would still recommend condoms because birth control does not protect you against STIs
No a condom is not needed if you are on birth control if you are only trying to prevent pregnancy. Birth control is more 99.99% effective when taken correctly. Birth control pills need to be taken everyday at the same time to make sure that the pill is 99.99% effective.

Using a condom to prevent pregnancy is not necessary because the birth control patch is 99% effective when used properly. However, the patch does not protect against sexually transmitted infections like herpes, chlamydia, or gonorrhea. To protect yourself against these infections, wearing a condom is a good idea unless you and your partner have been tested.

No, you do not. However, it is good to use birth control pills as extra protection from pregnancy. Condoms can tear or leak, and women sometimes forget to take the pills, so it is good to be in a habit of using both.

Using a condom when on hormonal birth control has a couple of advantages. It gives you protection against sexually transmitted infections, which the patch can't do. In addition, if you make a mistake with the patch, you'll still have protection against pregnancy.

If you use condoms you do not need to take birth control pills, because the condoms stop you from getting pregnant by stopping the sperm from entering your system.
